Resumes people published on the open web, found the way a recruiter would.

Recruiters using Recruiter Autopilot can see, under each job order, public resume PDFs that a search engine returns for that role. This page explains what that is, what we keep, and how to take yourself out.

What we collect

• We run ordinary web searches for the role, the way a recruiter types them by hand (for example filetype:pdf resume "software engineer" Austin).
• We fetch only PDF files the search engine returned, from the site that published them. We do not log in anywhere, we do not crawl sites, we honor each site's robots.txt, and our requests identify themselves as RecruiterAutopilotBot with a contact address.
• We keep a file only if it reads as one person's own resume: a name, an email or phone, and a work history. Templates, samples, job postings, and company documents are discarded.
• United States only for now. Resumes that read as being from another country are discarded.

What we keep

• The facts on the resume: name, email, phone, employers, titles, dates, locations, education, certifications, skills and tools. The sentences you wrote are not copied; the record holds a short restatement in our own words, and a check before every write proves no run of ten words from your resume survives in it.
• The PDF and its text stay in internal storage for verification only. No account can view, download or page through them. A recruiter may see at most a few short quoted lines from it, one per match, capped in length; for the original they follow the link to where you published it.
• The web address it came from and the date we found it.
• Recruiters from different agencies see the same shared record. Anything a recruiter adds about you, such as notes, a call summary, or a pipeline status, stays private to that recruiter's organization and is never shared with other accounts.

Remove yourself

If your resume is in the library and you want it out, enter the email address or phone number on it, or the web address of the PDF. The record is deleted right away and never collected again, even if the file stays online. Recruiters who already saved private notes about you keep those notes, the same as if they had found your resume themselves.
